    Saxa in Latin means stones, cliffs. The ancient Ernici, inhabitants of the cliffs, were the masters of this territory where the roots challenge the rocks, where the woods meet the glades. Here the vines grow strong, luxuriant, because they have the character of the Ernici in them. And they give us a timeless wine, just like the land.

    CESANESE DEL PIGLIO DOCG 

    Soft ruby red, on the nose notes of camphor, then violets and red fruits. Mouth clean, fluid and right persistance. 

    The ancient Ciociaro dialect was called Campanino. This velvety, soft, mellow red is a tribute to an enchanted slice of land, where centuries of history and stories meet in a glass of wine to give a taste capable of surprising.

    CESANESE DEL PIGLIO DOCG SUPERIORE

    Ruby red colour with violet hues. On the nose spices, pepper, Mediterranean scrub and roasting. In the mouth it is a clean, elegant, ariculated and balanced by good tannin.

    And if you look beyond the vineyard, toward the horizon, you will see Woodpecker chasing his dreams. For the sane do the right things, but the mad do the good.

    Complex nose. Cherry in alcohol and spices. An elegant austere, structured and persistent sip.

    And from the keep, sentinel of Piglio, one descends into the Arringo. There, where the ancient stones speak the language of the centuries, noble and proud peoples talk happily, sipping of the grapes the generous extract.
